City of West Torrens with Dryclone Australia (a subsidiary of Solo Resource Recovery), Peats Soil and Garden Supplies, and Greenhill Energy have collectively agreed to investigate the circular economy potential for using Municipal Solid Waste to produce hydrogen from gasification.
City of West Torrens Mayor Michael Coxon said, “As a progressive Council we are always looking for ways to take a leadership role in challenges of climate change, energy, and waste. We are excited that this Project has the potential to address all of these challenges plus contributing to a more healthy and sustainable environment and is in keeping with our Community Plan 2030”.
Solo Resource Recovery and our partners are committed to bringing economical technology to Australia with a focus on diverting residual waste from Landfill and maximising recycling opportunities.
We are very excited and humbled to be a part of this project.
